Russian stocks may rise in line with oil prices, foreign floors
MOSCOW, Jan 24 (PRIME) -- Russian stocks may rise at the opening on Friday receiving support from growing oil prices and positive dynamics of foreign floors, analysts said.
“The foreign background before the opening of the Russian market and ruble is moderately positive. It can receive support from the situation on the energy market, where Brent oil futures are trying to consolidate above U.S. $62 per barrel,” Promsvyazbank chief analyst Bogdan Zvarich said.
Alor Broker analyst Alexei Antonov said the U.S. stock futures are gaining around 0.1%, oil prices are also growing. “That’s why we expect the Russian stock market to open with an increase of 0.3–0.4%,” he said.
